The color of that light is very similar to the light balls the faeries threw at Sookie and Earl in fae.
I like the thought of her taking control of her powers and embracing who she is. That can only be a good thing in ALL aspects of her life. :)

It’s about time someone gave her some training. Perhaps she will feel empowered enough to accept and embrace her fae heritage. Niall may even be enhancing her powers in some way. She needs all the protection she can get. Now let’s just pray Niall is one of the good guys.
